What is Love?

Love the greatest gift man could ever have

But why does it hurt so much

Is it because the physical action of sex has now become so easy

That it’s has made us forget the reward of happiness and overwhelming joy from the emotional aspect of love

Or has the human desire of lust now replaced God’s purest form of love

Sometimes I ask myself, do people really know the meaning of love or has it now become a type of game

 Whereby they don’t care as long as they don’t feel the pain

I see my many brethren in relationships they are not happy with

This made me ponder

Does Love not overcome virtually everything?

God showed example by allowing his son to die for us so that we His beloved children could live for Him

Love is not written on a paper

For paper can be erased

Or is it etched on a stone

For stone can be broken

But it is inscribed in the heart

And there shall it remain forever

Love the greatest commandment in the bible

As I keep writing I ask myself what the meaning of love is

Many brethrens see love as a physical thing

But they have been blinded by today’s media portrayal of an emotion meant for peace not hurt

I thought love has to do with one’s feeling or affection

 But what I see is many people replacing it with money

 His Word taught me that the love of money is the root of all evil and replacing love with money will result in no love

I say love cannot be explain merely by words alone

 But by the actions that come from within

I don’t need to wait until February 14 to show my love but instead demonstrate in daily

I am not saying showing love on this day is a bad thing

 Even the Bible says love thy neighbour as yourself because God is love

And

Love is God

When Love shines from within us

 

Then this lustful world will gaze upon a glimpse of God’s Love for His people

WHAT A WORLD

What a world we live in that parents leave their young children to roam the streets alone

Playing in the middle of the road with no care in the world as if it were their own

Where legal suits have become a common occurrence

When a simple ‘I am sorry’ is not sufficient enough as an apology but instead we require legal assistance

What happened to this world?

From an alien perspective this world is a natural heaven

With life flowing abundantly

And overflowing sublimely

A planet filled with life from the tip of the roots under the earth soils

To the moist fresh nose of the majestic creature that is the eagle soaring free in the skies

Unlike a puppet trapped and lonely bounded by its master’s coils

But is freedom not all lies?

As the puppet dreams of relinquishing all ties

That’s when he will realise

Without those strings like ties

His life is as meaningless as flies

So in his master’s possession is where his purpose lies

A life totally dependent on others

Do not shame your fathers and mothers

By stiffening your throat to produce natural bubbly fluids

And then spraying it all over your family names like the horrid taste of pure alcoholic liquids

This world has been through too much pain, to last a lifetime

The shame, of

Family feuds

Siblings’ duels

Spouses sues

Forget your differences

Embrace the people’s metamorphoses

Angry wives

The legal suite is not your best friend 

Furious guys

The collision of your fist crushing her tender cheek bone must end

This world cries for peace

Its vocal muscles are aching in pain

The draughts and famines are mere pawns in portraying the grand scale of its strain

Snow in the season before the Sun

And scorching heat in the 4^th season making the ice run

What is happening in this world?

Are we truly safe?

How can we be safe when earth quakes are occurring as regular as new babies born?

When diseases such as AIDs disintegrate the lights of our future

Leaving weeping mothers hurting and fathers scorn

Scorned of this world and all its false promises

Promises from leaders who fling sweet words to satisfy heeding ears oblivious to the real crisis

What meaning do empty words that fill you with hope have…?

Without the passionate actions

That makes one reminisce the strength and love of God’s creations

Reflecting the characteristics of their maker

Take a look at the animals living in coherence and peace

Has our hatred devoured our sanity…

To the point where humanity

Will cease?
